Job Profile: Chief Security Officer
Location: Hoshiarpur, Punjab
Job Summary:
The Chief Security Officer (CSO) will oversee all security
operations for Vardhman Yarns and Threads Ltd Unit 1 & 1A, ensuring the
safety and security of personnel, assets, and information. This role requires
extensive experience in security management, strategic planning, and emergency
response.
Key Responsibilities:
Ø Responsible for the safety and security of company data,
personnel, and assets of entire plant of Vytl Unit 1 & 1A along with
workers colony, girls hostel, staff officer colony.
Ø Responsible for weigh bridge section working activities
Ø Assign the duties and depute security personnel in different
location of the both plants.
Ø Manage all transport of company’s like company’s car, ambulance,
fire tender and contractor vehicles.
Ø Responsible for all cleaning of plant like: Administration office,
production plants, washrooms and other offices of company staff employees etc.
Ø Proper vigilance of both the plants, godown (D7), Vehicle parking
etc.
Ø Liaising with Govt. official like Police department, Fire department
and other administration officials.
Ø To ensure all the register, reports and data is been maintained as
per the norms.
Ø Monitor security systems like CCTV in proper working condition.
Ø Prepare and manage the security budget, ensuring cost-effective use
of resources.
Ø Responsible for co-ordination in Fire mock drills, emergency
evacuation plans with EHS department.
Ø Responsible for handling all audits like internal, external with
respect to security department.
Required Qualifications:
Any Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Security Management, Criminal
Justice, or a related field.
Ex-Army Candidate (Preferred).
Required Experience:
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in security management,
preferably Indian forces.
Required Skills:
Ø Strong knowledge of security protocols, risk management, and
emergency response.
Ø Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Ø Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ø Proficient in using security technology and systems.
Ø Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ø Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
