Requirement - Power BI Analysts
Elevate Textiles – Shared Services Office, Gurugram
Position Overview
To support our growing requirements for IS support globally, we
have set up a Shared Services Office in Gurugram, India and are looking for
highly talented individuals to work for us.
The
Power BI Analysts would create functional reporting for our global businesses
and departments to include all locations and regions. Responsibilities
would include data connectivity, data modelling, and report development to
include strong visualization skills and some light coding. The persons
filling this role should have proven experience in data analytics and
visualizations, as well as strong interpersonal and communication
skills. Technologies include SQL Server, Power BI, JD Edwards, SAP and Microsoft Azure.
This
role will take direction from leadership in the United States and India.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Communication:
o Candidates
must be able to communicate effectively as they will be meeting with internal
customers to understand and document data needs, and bring those requirements
to the BI and Data Teams.
· Team:
o Candidates
must demonstrate an ability to build strong and cooperative relationships
within the BI & Data teams, as well as other departments within the
company.
· Reporting:
o This
role will create reports/visualizations based on data utilizing the Microsoft
BI Stacks to include – Power BI, Power Query (DAX), Power Pivot, Power BI
Report Builder. Knowledge and exposure to SSRS and SSIS a plus.
· Data
Transforms:
o This
role will work with tools like SharePoint, SQL Server, and Power Query to
conduct data transformations.
· Data
Warehouse:
o This
role will work with tools like SQL Server and SQL Azure to place review and
analyze data in Synapse DWH. Familiarity with relational and dimensional
databases.
· Data
Modelling:
o This
role will have the opportunity to work with dimensional data models with a
heavy focus on Fact/Dimension tables.
· Documentation:
o This
role will work in SharePoint to document customer’s needs as well as learn how
to produce and maintain professional level Data Definition Documentation.
Position
Qualifications
· B.
Tech / Masters and with appropriate certifications in Data Analytics / Data
Science / Power BI
· Proven
ability to work as part of an international team with a positive attitude, mind
set and approach
· Responsible,
self-motivated and a strong work-ethics with ability to take direction from
international team members.
· Demonstrated
analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and detail
· Strong
communication with excellent oral and written skills in English
· Proficient
in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook
Experience:
8
– 12 years, preferably with
Shared Services of Global Companies operating in India
Joining:
The
positions need to be filled urgently, we would prefer candidates who can join
early and
can work from office in Gurugram.
